collar in a 5" x 6"oval format within a black scrollwork
border. Signed by the artist, "Colot, facit." and monogrammed
with the sitter's initials and crest with cornet, and dated 1793.
Framed in a gilt molding with silk spandral and UV glass. Continental,
probably France, 1793.
