6-24-2002B Sheraton mahogany upholstered seat, ram's horn armchair with curved crest rail over a carved back rail. The chair rests on turned front legs with raked rear legs. English Regency period, circa 1815.
10-7-02G American academic Revival white oak bow back Windsor armchair. The chair bears its original makers label on the underside of the seat. Ohio, circa 1925.
10-4-2004Y American Sheraton Hitchcock-type painted and stencil-decorated rush seat side chair. Connecticut Valley, circa 1820.
10-3-2003B American reverse-banister back, rush-seat side chair with later black finish with embellishments in gold paint. The turned hardwood elements include the continuous turned back legs joined by a carved crest rail and lower cross rail which are fitted with split, turned back splats. The turned seat rails support the natural rush seat above turned double box stretchers. The turned front legs terminate in a turned-up foot. New England, circa 1720.

6-7-2004W Set of four curly maple cane seat side chairs with pseudo Klismos legs joined with box stretchers. The curved and scrolled back crest rail is applied to the upper back post over two narrow back rails. Neo Classic with a surprising delicacy of line. Each is fitted with a seat cushion. New York manufacture, circa 1820.
