9-13-2004 American Sheraton figured maple sideboard/server.
The divided top drawer is fitted with its original drop ring
brass drawer pulls. The drawer projects over three paneled doors
and is supported by flanking turned columns that resolve into
block and turned legs. Each of the three doors & drawers
has twist original stamped brass secession plate. White pine
secondary wood. Massachusetts, circa 1830.

of four graduated drawers on turned and melon carved feet. The
top is framed by a scroll-cut back splash with chimney ends and
central tablet. Cherry with white pine secondary wood. Connecticut

of drawers with set back glove box. The divided glove box is
framed by a continuous scroll end splash and is mounted to the
dresser top which projects the top drawer over three drawer which
are flanked by fully turned columns. The birch case and columns
are finished in its original oxide red stained surface with book
matched mahogany veneered drawer fronts and drawer blades. White
pine secondary wood. Northern New England, circa 1830 |

2-22-2005d American curly maple chest with projecting
top drawer over scroll supports flanking three lower drawers.
The case rests on scrolled front legs and rear legs cut from
the solid maple side panels. The case is mounted with a divided
drawer glove box with splash.The drawers are fitted with turned
maple mushroom knobs. This American Classical chest is a particularly
well proportioned example of the pillar and scroll taste popularized
in the first American furniture design book, by John Hall, circa
1840. |

8-16-2004 American cherry Hepplewhite four-drawer
chest with scratch beaded graduated drawers with original brass
bail handle pulls. The case rests on French bracket feet joined
by a continuous scalloped apron. Connecticut Valley, circa 1800. |

6-15-2004 Boston Neo Classic cabinet with mirrored
doors flanking an elevated central cabinet with two frame and
paneled doors. The side panels and central door panels are plum
pudding mahogany with fine grain, old growth mahogany framing.
The solid board top is richly figured in ribbon grain mahogany
with crisply cut edge moldings. The mirrored side doors are flanked
by engaged half columns below brass-mounted dies and terminate

birch mushroom knobs. The case has rounded front corners and
rest on bracket feet. Note: the bottom drawer includes the base
molding providing an especially deep storage drawer. Mahogany
secondary wood. England, circa 1835. Dimensions: 20" deep
x 46.5" wide x 47.75" tall. |

four-drawer chest with biscuit corners with engaged rope twist
columns on turned legs. Eastern white pine secondary wood. The
drawers have been fitted with replacement brass drawer pulls
in the original borings. Note the exceptional compact size. New
